Incontinence therapy – Incontilase®
If you experience involuntary urination while coughing, sneezing, lifting, or even running or walking up stairs, you are likely to suffer from stress-type incontinence.
Stress incontinence usually occurs during menopause or after childbirth, however it can actually occur at any age. The cause of this phenomenon is that the pelvic floor muscles weaken and this results in an altered anatomical condition that causes drops of urination.
Our IncontiLase® treatment provides a modern, painless, quick solution to this problem by stimulating the formation of collagen in the vaginal wall. As a result of the laser treatment, the supporting function of the vagina improves, thus eliminating or significantly reducing urinary loss. Normal urination reoccurs and the patient’s quality of life significantly improves.
Every third woman suffers from some kind of urinary incontinence and lives together with the problem, although stress incontinence can be eliminated or can be significantly improved.
If the condition is complicated with other types of incontinence, then additional medical treatment may be needed.
Intimate laser treatment does not require any special preparation. We provide our patients with outpatient treatment. In our comfortable, modern center, we welcome our patients in a discreet environment without any waiting time.

How does the IntimaLase® work?
The thermal effect of Fotona’s Er:YAG non-ablative laser beam that operates on a 2940 nm wavelength, stimulates collagen organization and production in the vaginal canal tissues. As a result, the vaginal wall shrinks (tightens) and strengthens, supports the bladder base, correcting the altered anatomical position that has caused urinary loss..
The unique benefits of IntimaLase®
- Safer, faster treatment. By using it, possible complications associated with traditional surgical procedures can be avoided.
- Does not require special preparation or aftercare.
- Non-surgical procedure. The patient can resume daily activities immediately after treatment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
TREATMENTS
Laser Vaginal Tightening
Vaginal spaciousness/relaxation appears after childbirth or advances with age due to connective tissue weakness. With the help of the Er:YAG laser, because of the formation of collagen, the vagina becomes tighter and more flexible.
Vaginal Atrophy Treatment
With the onset of menopause, hormone levels and the ability of the vaginal epithelium to form mucus decrease, a dry, burning-itching sensation causes discomfort, and sexual intercourse becomes painful. With an intimate laser, the problem can be treated without the use of hormones.
Incontinence Therapy
Over time, the pelvic floor muscles weaken, which can cause involuntary urination. If you experience this when you cough, laugh, or lift, you may be suffering from stress incontinence, which can be effectively treated with an intimate laser.
Treatment of Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Due to pregnancy, childbirth, or connective tissue weakness, the position of the internal genitals may change, causing an increasingly uncomfortable feeling for the patient. With intimate laser therapy, this condition can be significantly improved without surgery.
Intraurethal Laser
I usually use IntraLase® as a complementary treatment to stress incontinence therapy for more effective results, but the procedure can be used on its own as well. This method can successfully cure several types of incontinence.
